As our students and their parents begin and end their last school day of the year, I would like to recognize the effort put forth by the students, parents, teachers and administrators during these past ten weeks (Yes, TEN weeks!). We all realize remote learning has been a significant change from the traditional brick and mortar concept all of us grew up with. It has been a challenge, but please pat each other on the back, high-five or fist bump all who played a part in your child(ren)’s education this spring!
At the June School Board meeting, we will begin discussing what the beginning of school may look like and what options there may be as the summer unfolds. Our goal is to have our students back in school, but realize we are not sure what our state and country may look like in August due to COVID-19.
I want to wish all of you a healthy, stress free summer to enjoy your families and friends.
Have a great summer!
Dinny Bennett, Superintendent
